I'm Detective 47 — producer, engineer, and the founder of Digital Dust Studio. I've been obsessing over what happens between the source and the speaker for over two decades.

The Sound Detective is where I document that obsession: the gear, the decisions, the invisible craft that separates a record that lands from one that disappears.

Credits include work alongside Robert Margouleff (Stevie Wonder's Innervisions), underground hip-hop with Fatlip (The Pharcyde), and ongoing sessions with artists across the valley and beyond.
