End User License Agreement

Effective 26 August 2026. This agreement covers all Sound Detective plugins, including trial builds.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the software for making music and audio, on the number of machines your license type allows (trial: one machine; full licenses: stated at purchase). You own your recordings and everything you create with the software, fully and royalty-free — including sounds you make with any bundled presets or content.

You may not

Redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the software or activation codes; reverse-engineer or modify it except where law permits; use one trial repeatedly on the same machine under different identities; or bypass license enforcement.

Activation

The software is activated with a code tied to your machine, as described in the Privacy Policy. Once activated it runs offline. If activation fails or a machine dies, email us — moving a legitimate license to a new machine is always solved, not punished.

Trial and beta builds

Trial and beta builds may stop working at their expiry, may change before release, and are provided as-is, without warranty of any kind. Back up your sessions.

Warranty and liability

For released software we warrant that it substantially works as described on its product page; your remedy for a real defect we cannot fix is a refund of what you paid. To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages — lost profits, lost sessions, missed deadlines. Nothing in this agreement limits rights that your local law says cannot be limited.

Termination

The license ends if you materially breach this agreement and don't fix the breach after we point it out. You can end it any time by deleting the software. Sections about your ownership of your recordings survive.
